Only OMFED ghee to be used in Puri Srimandir

Only ghee sourced from the OMFED will be used in Puri Srimandir. A decision in this regard was taken on Tuesday. 

As per reports, it has been decided in a meeting that only OMFED ghee will be used in the preparation of Mahaprasad and lighting lamps.

Following the meeting, the chief administrator of the temple wrote a letter to the MD, OMFED, informing about the decision taken. The former also urged the latter to take steps for a special depot.

The chief administrator also informed that the servitors have requested to lower the price of the ghee. 

At the same time, a warning has been issued that action will be taken against anyone if they are found taking ghee of any other brand into Srimandir.
