Famous Ollywood actor Pintu Nanda was admitted to hospital after his health condition deteriorated on Wednesday.
He has been reportedly suffering from liver related ailments since past few months.
His nephew, Debesh said, “His (Nanda) condition is serious. He can’t even speak now. He has lost a lot of weight. We are praying for his wellbeing.”
“The doctor has told us that his liver is damaged and he needs an immediate transplant. The transplant will cost around Rs 50 lakh and we are trying to crowd-fund the money. I request everybody to please chip in with any amount they could spare for the treatment of my uncle,” said Debesh.
Nanda’s brother-in-law, Pradeep Satapathy said, “We are literally crying for his health. Their association is trying to source some money for the treatment. Two of their representatives had come yesterday to meet us. I think they will help us.”
The 45-year-old actor, known for playing negative roles, is currently residing at his elder brother Abhiram Nanda’s house.
