Badagada Town Police on Thursday arrested Ollywood actor Partha Sarathi Ray on the basis of a non-bailable warrant (NBW) issued against him by the local JMFC (Judicial Magistrate First Class) Court.

The arrest followed allegations that the actor violated court protocols, prompting judicial authorities to order immediate legal action.

Police sources confirmed that Ray was taken into custody by a team from Badagada Town Police Station and subsequently produced before the court as per legal procedure.

The warrant was issued earlier after the actor reportedly failed to comply with court-mandated conditions in an ongoing legal matter.

Authorities have not disclosed the specific case details that led to the NBW issuance, but officials stated that the JMFC court had directed the police to execute the warrant without delay.

After the arrest, Ray was presented before the court this noon. The legal proceedings are expected to continue in the coming days based on the court’s direction.
