A similar incident was reported from Keonjhar district, where hundreds of tribal women from five villages under Harichandanpur panchayat stormed a government-run liquor outlet located inside the forest near Baunsanali village. The women first vandalized the shop and later set it on fire.

Police personnel from Harichandanpur reached the spot following the incident. According to locals, villagers have been demanding the relocation of the liquor shop away from their area for a long time, but no action has been taken by the authorities.
