Odisha Vigilance raids Koraput ADEO properties on DA charges, searches on at 7 locations

Odisha Vigilance raided seven locations linked to S Partha Sarathi Bisoi, ADEO at Batasana Gram Panchayat, Kotpad Block, over disproportionate assets allegations. Documents were seized.

Odisha Vigilance, on Thursday, conducted simultaneous raids at seven locations linked to S Partha Sarathi Bisoi, ADEO (Accountant cum Data Entry Operator) of Batasana Gram Panchayat under Kotpad Block in Koraput district, on allegations of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The raids were led by two Additional SPs, four DSPs, six Inspectors, six ASIs, and other supporting staff and carried out based on search warrants issued by the Hon'ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore. 

Simultaneous raids are currently underway at the following locations:

1. Residential house of S. Partha Sarathi Bisoi in village Champia, PS-Boriguma, Koraput.

2. Residential house of his brother in village Champia, PS-Boriguma, Koraput.

3. House of his relative in village Champia, PS-Boriguma, Koraput.

4. House of S. Partha Sarathi Bisoi in village Champia, PS-Boriguma, Koraput.

5. Cashewnut Processing Unit namely M/s Sai Krishna Enterprises of Bisoi in Champia, PS-Boriguma, Koraput.

6. A triple-storeyed building of Bisoi in Boriguma, Koraput.

7. Office chamber of Bisoi at Batasana Gram Panchayat under Kotpad Block, Koraput.

Sources indicate that the Vigilance officials seized several important documents and passbooks during the raids. Till the last reports came in, the investigation into Bisoi's assets was ongoing, and further details are expected.
