Odisha Vigilance nets ex-superintendent of Jharpada Jail in Bhubaneswar
On the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets, Odisha Vigilance on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at the office, residence, and property of Satyaprakash Swain, Ex Jail Superintendent, of Jharpada Jail in Bhubaneswar, currently posted as Superintendent, District Jail, Keonjhar.
Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 12 DSPs, 11 Inspectors SI/ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The raid team is conducting searches at seven places in, Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak, and Keonjhar.
1. Residential house no - LB 104 over plot 912, khata 1072, Govindprasad, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar.
2. Parental house at Plot B-53, Siddhi Vihar, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar.
3. Native village of Swain at Narsinghpur, Dhusuri, Bhadrak.
4. Government quarters occupied by Swain at Qr no - D-1, Special jail Colony, Jharpada, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar.
5. Government quarters of Jail Superintendent, Keonjhar inside Jail campus, Keonjhar.
6. Office room of Swain, Superintendent of Jail, Keonjhar.
7. House of his relative at House no EB-355, Jharpada, Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar.
