Odisha train tragedy: Train services resume on accident-affected route

A coal-laden goods train from Vizag port started its journey towards Rourkela Steel plant at around 10.40 pm yesterday. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw remained present at the spot during the resumption of the services.

Almost 51 hours after the horrific triple train crash at Bahanaga Bazar Station in Balasore which claimed the lives of 275 people, first train started its journey on the route following the completion of restoration work on Sunday night.
