Odisha is all set to claim its rightful place under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Chief Minister Mohan Majhi in his address at Utkarsh Odisha Conclave in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.
In his address, CM Mohan Majhi urged the industry captains to set up their ventures in Odisha as the state has a lot to offer. Odisha has ultimate potential with rich natural resources, impressive roads, air connectivity, ports and other infrastructure along with industrial friendly policy, he said.
Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his Odisha-centric vision, CM Mohan Majhi said that it is a matter of pride that PM Modi inaugurated the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave. In the last seven months, the Prime Minister has visited the state nearly five times. This shows his commitment towards the state, he said.
“The Prime Minister has always brought a lot of welfare schemes and initiatives. PM Modi had laid the foundation for Purvodaya and this Conclave will instil a sense of confidence among the investors and business community. Odisha is not only the land of opportunities, it is soon going to be the driving engine of the country, especially in eastern India,” said CM Mohan Majhi.
The Odisha CM said that things are fast changing in the state. The government recently signed eight MoUs with Singapore based industries.
“Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha is ready to claim its rightful place. More than two dozen states are vying to attract investments, which is great for the Indian economy. Districts like Malkangiri, Rayagada and Keonjhar are now emerging as focal points for sectors like renewal energy, food processing and textiles,” said CM Majhi.
