Odisha students mark safe return from Jammu, reunite with families after undergoing stress during In
Following days of extensive targeting of Indian civilians by Pakistan and significantly prompt retaliatory strikes by the Indian Armed Forces, the two sides agreed to a ceasefire on Saturday. However, tensions remain high following a blatant show of irresponsibility and disregard for peace by Pakistan, which sent armed drones across the Indian border regions again last night, sparking retaliatory measures.
Amid these tensions, a group of Odia students studying in Jammu, which has been targeted by Pakistani drones, safely returned to Odisha this morning, bringing immense relief to their families.
Sources reported that these students, enrolled at the Central Sanskrit University in Jammu, found themselves caught in an escalating war-like situation near the border region.
As tensions rose, the university authorities, in coordination with the Odisha government, made arrangements to shift them to Delhi as a precautionary measure.
Yet, these students, struck with fear, were desperate to reach home, taking note of which the central and state governments stepped in to ensure safe evacuation.

Among the returning students is Geetanjali Jena, a first-year undergraduate student hailing from Ganjia village in Baliapal block of Balasore.
