Ananta Kishore Behera, the Principal Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlement) passed away while undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar on Saturday night. He was 52. Behera was suffering from lung-related ailments.
Born in Cuttack district's Mahanga, Behera has discharged duties at various positions in the Indian Audit and Accounts Service both in the country and abroad. On getting information, several eminent personalities expressed grief and paid tributes to Behera for his contribution.
