After allegations of out-of-syllabus questions in the Physics paper in Plus II examinations, the students of the Nayagarh Autonomous College on Saturday alleged that the Botany paper also had questions that were not from the syllabus.
As per reports, the Botany paper's examination was held on March 11. The students alleged that out of 35 marks, around 12 marks were out of the syllabus. They also complained that the pattern of the questions was changed.
As they couldn’t attend the out-of-syllabus questions, they demanded grace marks against those.

“Our question pattern has been changed this year and the questions were also out of the syllabus. Out of 35 marks in Botany, 12 marks were out syllabus. How could we attend? The same was the case with the Physics paper,” a student alleged.
When contacted, a lecturer of Nayagarh Autonomous College, Ganesh Mishra said, “Botany lecturers feel that 12 marks were out of syllabus. I think the concerns of the students are right.”
However, no comments were received from the Council of Higher Secondary Education.
