The Odisha pavilion has bagged an award at the 43rd edition of the India International Trade Fair (IITF), 2024 held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. 

Odisha Pavilion has bagged the prestigious award for the third consecutive time. Odisha secured the silver medal for best thematic presentation.

Odisha pavilion became the main attraction of the India International Trade Fair. A model of the gate of the famous Mukteswar temple has been beautifully placed at the entrance of the pavilion.

The theme of the Trade Fair for the current year is-Vikashit Bharat 2047.

Odisha Pavilion was placed at the Hall No.2 of Pragati Maidan from November 14-27. The Odisha pavilion has as many as 26 stalls. Cultural glimpses of Odisha were depicted and products from different districts of the State were kept in the stalls.

“Odisha has been continuously winning awards at the India International Trade Fair for the last three years. Odisha Pavilion has secured a silver medal in the thematic presentation this year. Our theme was the vision of the Chief Minister-Vikashit Odisha 2026 as it attracted a lot of attention. Our stalls have witnessed good footfalls. We are hopeful that the trend will continue in future as well,” said Vishal Gagan, Odisha’s Resident Commissioner in New Delhi.

The Odisha Pavilion has won the prestigious gold medal in IITF 2023. Conceptualized on the lines of the state’s ancient maritime trade culture, the Odisha Pavilion, with 24 stalls, including handloom outlets and government departments, promoted the rich cultural heritage, handicrafts and handlooms of Odisha.
