Out of the total 1,711 eligible women in Bonda Ghati, over 500 have successfully received their ‘Subhadra’ assistance. However, several others encountered delays due to problems relating to their application.
Whatever issues remain will be resolved soon to ensure that all eligible women receive their ‘Subhadra’ assistance money.
The ambitious initiative aims to provide financial support to women in the region, but challenges in the application and distribution process have caused setbacks, the Deputy CM reiterated.
Authorities concerned are working to streamline the process.
When contacted, the Deputy CM said, “We got to know from media reports that out of 1,711 eligible applicants, around 577 women alone received their assistance money. Nearly 1,200 more have not yet got the funds.”

“We have already directed the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) and District Social Welfare (DSW) Officer under information to the District Collector in this regard and government officials will visit each applicant and ensure that their issues are resolved. Besides, I appeal to the media houses to bring such issues, that have missed the Government’s eyes, to the knowledge of our Department,” the Deputy CM stated.
“Subhadra is for all and we will certainly provide assistance to all eligible women,” the Deputy CM asserted.
