The Odisha government garnered praises for announcing one-day menstrual leave for the State government and private sector employees on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. To follow it up, the Odisha govt on Tuesday increased the number of leave for female govt employees in the additional casual leave category.
Following the announcement, the additional casual leave for female government employees has increased from 10 days to 12 days. As per the sources, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi issued directions in this regard on Tuesday.
Apart from the additional casual leave, employees are eligible for 10 days of casual leave and 5 days of special casual leave.
