Once again a huge rush was witnessed ahead of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi’s grievance hearing in Bhubaneswar on Monday. As the grievance hearing has resumed after a gap of two weeks, people from different parts of the state have come to Bhubaneswar to meet the CM Majhi with a hope to get their issues resolved.

Be it senior citizens, divyangs or those seeking medical attention, the CM’s grievance hearing cell has now become the one-stop solution to various issues concerning the people in the state.

As a result, an unprecedented rush was witnessed for the CM’s grievance hearing today. Moreover, a stampede-like situation cropped up for a very short time which was subsequently handled by the security personnel. Such a situation was seen during the entry process for registration.

Amidst the brief chaos, it was found that a couple from Boudh district has also come for the CM’s grievance hearing. They have come for their 6-year-old daughter Pratyusha Giri, who is suffering from a disease in which she has developed wounds on her body.

Pratyusha is suffering from the condition after 20 days of her birth. Pratyusha’s parents are unable to afford her treatment and hence have come to seek help of the Odisha government.

“My daughter developed the disease 20 days after her birth. The doctors informed that there is no treatment for her condition. The doctors have asked me to keep my daughter in air conditioner and I am not able to do owing to financial crisis. My elder daughter was also suffering from the same condition and she died subsequently,” said Pratyusha’s father.

Pratyusha’s mother said, “We have come here to seek some help from the Odisha government so that my daughter fights and win.”
