Odisha government on Monday presented a full-fledged state budget pegged at Rs 2,90,000 crore for the financial year 2025-26. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, who also holds the Finance department portfolio, presented the budget in the Odisha Assembly.
While presenting the 2025-26 budget, CM Majhi said that Odisha government is committed for fast paced development which has been a long standing demand of people.
As per PM Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, the Odisha government is working round the clock for ensuring development, said CM Majhi. Odisha will become the growth engine for 2047 Viksit Bharat mission (Government's vision to transform the country into a self-reliant and prosperous economy), he said.
