Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s popularity has nosedived during the last one year as per the survey conducted by India Today.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said his popularity would decline further.
“Even today, patients are receiving treatment on the verandah at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. This is the picture of Odisha’s development. In the race of development, Odisha is lagging behind. I think his popularity would decrease more by December,” observed BJP leader Rajendra Panda.
BJD leader Ramesh Chandra Chyau Patnaik responded by saying “During his rule, even the leaders from the Opposition parties are praising him for his style of governance. Even the union leaders are heaping praise on him. He is followed even abroad.”
