Newborn girl rescued from borewell in Odisha, 'battling for life' at hospital 

Sources said, her intestine is bleeding and the health authorities of the VIMSAR are mulling to airlift her to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Post Graduate Institute of Paediatrics (Sishubhawan) in Cuttack, if the need arises.

The newborn girl after being rescued from a borewell in the Rengali area of Sambalpur has been battling for life at the SNCU of the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) in Burla, amid reports that she has serious health complications arising out of her low weight and premature birth.
