According to sources, two female students from Odisha have alleged serious discrepancies in their NEET (UG) 2025 results. One student experienced a sudden score drop after a password reset, while another claimed her marks fell by 90 points upon re-downloading her scorecard, raising serious concerns among the NEET aspirants.

Arushi Routray from Kendrapara district claimed she had originally secured 543 marks with an All India Rank (AIR) of 14,865 when the NEET results were first published on June 14. However, due to registration issues, she later on contacted NTA and was advised to reset her password.

After doing so, Arushi’s updated rank sheet displayed only 61 marks, causing immense confusion and preventing her from registering for medical counselling. She suspects a mismatch in application numbers before and after the reset and has held NTA responsible for the irregularity.

In a similar incident, Priyanshi Priyadarshini Dash from Patnagarh locality in Bolangir district reported that her initial score was 540 on June 14. But when she downloaded her scorecard again on June 22 during the counselling registration process, it showed only 90 marks. She has not received a copy of her OMR sheet via e-mail and suspects a technical or procedural lapse.

Both students have demanded transparency and accountability from NTA.

As of now, the agency has not issued any official response regarding these claims.
