National Awards for e-Governance 2025
Suakati gram panchayat of Keonjhar district in Odisha is among the list of three jury awardees National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG). Along with Suakati gram panchayat from Odisha, Gujarat’s Palsana gram panchayat and Lalitpur Municipal Council of Uttar Pradesh are among the list.
National Awards for e-Governance (NAeG) are presented every year to recognize and promote excellence in implementation of e-Governance initiatives.
The list of 10 Gold and 06 Silver Awardees of NAeG 2025:

The 22nd NAeG 2025 awardees in six categories include the Gram Panchayats category for the first time, recognising deepening and widening of service delivery at grassroots level through digitization.
The six categories for the NAeG 2025, are
(i)Government Process Re-engineering by use of technology for Digital Transformation
(ii) Innovation by Use of AI and Other New Age Technologies for Providing Citizen Centric Services
(iii) Best e-Gov Practices/Innovation in Cyber Security
(iv) Grassroot Level Initiatives for Deepening/ Widening of Service Delivery with focus on initiatives by District Level/Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Gram Panchayats or equivalent Traditional Local Bodies
(v) Replication and Scaling up of Successful National Awarded Projects like NAeG, Prime Minister Awards in Excellence, Awards conferred by other Central Ministries by State/UT/ District
(vi) Digital transformation by use of data analytics in digital platforms by Central Ministries/States/UTs
The NAeG Awards, 2025 consist of a trophy, certificate and an incentive of Rs 10 lakh for Gold Awardees and Rs 5 Lakhs for Silver Awardees- to be awarded to the District/ Organisation/ Gram Panchayat for being utilised for implementation of project/programme or bridging resources gaps in any area of public welfare.
The awards ceremony will be held during the 28th National Conference on e-Governance, reported PIB.
