More women in workforce my dream: OTV MD Jagi Mangat Panda

There is a huge gap between the number of women and men in the workforce. More women participation in workforce is my dream, said Odisha Television Limited (OTV) Managing Director, Jagi Mangat Panda.

Addressing a gathering at the sixth annual function of a leading voluntary organisation, Maheswari Sangathan in Bolangir, Panda said, “Women should be encouraged in the workforce. We have a target of at least 50 per cent women in workforce. Inclusion of more women in the workforce is my dream.”

“The land of Bolangir is the land of Goddess Samaleswari. Those who are working for the betterment of the society should be encouraged,” she added.

Among others, Cam Linh Lai, lead analyst of OVO Farm, Rarian company CEO Anirudh Mishra shared the stage with Panda as guests at the event.

Students and intellectuals in large numbers participated in the event and discussed several issues during a question-answer session. 

Several persons were also felicitated during the event for their contribution to a better society.
