The prestigious Madhusudan Law University in Cuttack on Monday canceled the scheduled exam for 3rd year LLB students due to unavoidable circumstances. The exam for Paper-1 (Labour Law – II) that was scheduled to be held today has been canceled.
Following complaints by students, the University canceled the exam and has decided to reschedule it for another date.
Issuing a notice, the University said, “This is for information to all the concerned that, due to some unavoidable circumstances Paper-I (Labour Law – II) of 6th Semester 3yr LLB Examination June-2024 has been cancelled.”
“The rescheduled date shall be notified later on,” the notice further stated.
“I’m a 6th semester 3yr LLB student; today, we had Paper-I (Labour Law-II) exam from 8:30 to 11:30 am. However, we came to know that all the questions were out of the syllabus. So, the exam has been cancelled as of now and we have been asked to leave for today. We have no idea when the exam will be re-scheduled,” said Sangita Das, a student of Capital Law College in Bhubaneswar.
Similarly, another student said, “All the procedures were followed as usual when we came to the exam centre. We were given the question papers but we came to know that all the questions were out of the syllabus. So, we informed the principal, and the exam has been canceled. We requested it to be rescheduled.”
