A video of Maoist cadres dancing to the tunes of tribal music with their uniform and arms has now gone viral on social media.
While the exact date and place of the video is yet to be established, the video is said to have been shot at a Maoist camp at an unknown location in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar district along Odisha border.
Interestingly, some other persons without their customary uniforms can also be seen dancing, indicating that civilians were also present in that camp along with the Maoists.
The video shows both male and female members dancing by holding each other's hands while some others are guarding them with rifles in their hands.
While the dancing and merrymaking of the Maoists are not uncommon, this particular dance is performed to celebrate success, said experts.
However, it is still not clear which division of the Maoist outfit they belong to.
