Man, wife and son-in-law killed in road mishap in Odisha

Three persons of a family died in a tragic road accident near Padampur along Anandapur- Karanjia road in Keonjhar district on Friday. The deceased have been identified as Sahadev Behera of Kalabila village under Ghasipura Police limits, his wife Chandini and son-in-law Abhiram Behera.

As per initial reports, all of them were travelling on a motorcycle when it collided with an ATM cash van. Following the accident, the trio was rushed to the nearest hospital where they succumbed to the injuries.

Baneswar Behera, a relative of the victims said, “We learnt about the accident after a person called and informed us. All of them were travelling together on a motorcycle when the accident occurred.”

Satyabrata Jena, an eyewitness said, “Already the accident had occurred when I reached the spot. All of them were alive and we rushed them to the hospital where they died. The accident occurred near Padampur temple.”
