Man killed, 4 injured in bee attack in Kalahandi

A man killed while four other persons were injured after they were attacked by a swarm of honeybees Betiapada Bijepur police station in Kalahandi district on Sunday. All five persons were reportedly going to the forest nearby when they were attacked by a swarm of honeybees.

Following the incident, all of them were first rescued and rushed to Bengaon Primary Health Centre for treatment. One person was subsequently transferred to Bhawanipatna Community Health Centre, where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The health condition of four other victims is said to be stable.
