Lady journalist found dead on railway tracks in Bhubaneswar

In an unfortunate incident, a lady journalist was found dead on railway tracks in the Bapuji Nagar area of Bhubaneswar.

The deceased has been identified as Madhusmita Parida. She was working for a web channel.

As per reports, she got married a couple of months back. While she was residing in a rented house in the Bapuji Nagar area, her husband was staying away.

The body of the deceased was recovered from a railway line near Bapuji Nagar on Wednesday.

Upon being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident. However, the exact reason behind the death was not ascertained immediately.

A purported video recorded by the victim reportedly before her death is going viral on social media platforms.

While the family members of the deceased have brought murder allegations against Madhusmita's husband, Sridhar Jena, he has refuted the allegations.
