Thereafter, he attended the DISHA meeting at the office of the district Collector. He held discussions with concerned officials regarding the progress of several developmental projects. During the meeting, he wanted to know why the mega water supply yojana under the Jal Jeevan Mission has not been taken up in 396 villages.

He also took stock of the electrification work at different places and directed the officers of the concerned departments to speed up the developmental projects.
“Today’s discussion primarily focused on two agendas. They were the Jal Jeevan Mission and the National Health Mission. The status of the ongoing projects like the supply of drinking water to every house and their schedules of completion were reviewed threadbare. Similarly, in the meeting, we also reviewed the status of the construction of sub-centre, their handover, availability of ambulance facilities in all places and posting of lab technicians in PHCs under the NHM,” said Panda.
Mahakalpara MLA, Durga Prasanna Nayak said, “People have given us a mandate with some hopes. So we must listen to them. So I would appeal to all leaders that they should come forward and cooperate for the development of the district.”
