The State Vigilance sleuths on Friday conducted simultaneous raids on the properties of a junior clerk of Balasore DEO office.

On charges of possession of disproportionate assets, several teams of vigilance today conducted raids at six places linked to the junior clerk Pradeep Das, including his residence.

"Our search operation is underway. Only after the search, we can divulge details," said an official.

Reportedly, Das had been under the Vigilance scanner for the last several years as there were some allegations of corruption against him.

Till the last report came in, the Vigilance had seized some important documents.
