Jump in agricultural budget shows govt’s commitment towards farmers: Odisha Agriculture Minister 

While addressing a press conference, Agriculture Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain said the state government for the first time presented a special agriculture budget in 2013-14 fiscal. Then the budget allocation was Rs 7,162 crore. In 2022-23 fiscal, the amount of allocation was increased to Rs 21,166 crore.

With an allocation of Rs 24,829 crore in Odisha’s agriculture budget for 2023-24, around 70L farmer families will be benefitted, said Agriculture Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain on Tuesday.
