The Jajpur Medical College and Hospital will be named after King Jajati Keshari, informed the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) on Wednesday.

Jajati Keshari, the famous Somavansi ruler of ancient Odisha, occupies a special place in the hearts of the people of Odisha. The construction of many important temples including the magnificent Lingaraj Temple and the establishment of Abhinav Jajnagar, the modern-day Jajpur, as the capital of his kingdom speaks volumes about his benevolence.
