Heatwave alert issued in Odisha

Odisha is currently witnessing intense heat wave conditions with mercury breaching the 42 degrees Celsius mark at several places. The capital city of Bhubaneswar on Friday recorded a maximum temperature of 43.2 degrees C by 2:30PM.

With a steep rise in maximum temperature and IMD’s alert for heat wave, people should always take extra precautions to stay hydrated. It is also advisable for all to recognize the signs of heat stroke.
