A trough is currently running from the cyclonic circulation associated with well marked Low Pressure Area over northwest Madhya Pradesh (MP) and its neighbourhood to northeast Bangladesh. India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted minimal rainfall activities in Odisha districts after July 30.
However, the IMD has issued Yellow Warning in some districts on July 28 and 29.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre in Bhubaneswar mentioned, “Sea condition is very likely to be rough to very rough over North Bay of Bengal along and off Odisha coasts. Fishermen are advised not to venture into North Bay of Bengal and along and off Odisha coasts during 27th and 28th July 2025.”
