The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bhubaneswar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TCS iON to launch a certificate programme focused on cloud systems and infrastructure management, an official statement released by IIT stated.

The MoU was formalised on Thursday by Dinakar Pasla, Dean of Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy at IIT Bhubaneswar, and V Ramaswamy, Global Head of TCS iON.
Cloud computing and artificial intelligence
According to the IIT sources, the newly launched programme will cover theoretical concepts, practical applications, and real-world use cases related to cloud systems and associated technologies.
Sessions will be conducted by internationally recognised academicians, researchers, and industry experts with extensive experience and demonstrated expertise in cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
Aimed at fresh graduates, mid-career professionals, and entrepreneurs, the programme seeks to equip participants with foundational knowledge and applied skills in cloud systems and infrastructure management.
"The Certificate Programme sessions will be conducted by globally acclaimed academics, researchers, and industry experts with extensive experience and recognized expertise in cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Tailored for recent graduates, mid-career professionals, and entrepreneurs, the programme is designed to equip participants with a solid foundation and hands-on skills in managing cloud systems and infrastructure," an IIT-Bhubaneswar spokesperson said.
Additionally, the fresh initiative is expected to foster collaborative research opportunities between the TCS and IIT Bhubaneswar, the statement added.

Several key academic and industry leaders attended the event, including Prof. V. Pandu Ranga, Dean of Continuing Education at IIT Bhubaneswar, and Dr. Padmalochan Bera, the Programme Coordinator.
