Huge python found in car in Odisha’s Jajpur; rescued after 5 hours

A man in Jajpur district on Monday was taken aback after he spotted a huge python inside his car. The car owner, who is an educationist, first noticed the tail of the python when he had taken the vehicle for servicing at a centre in the Tentulikhunta area.

Soon, the 7-ft-long python managed to slither inside the Air Conditioner duct of the car. Without wasting time, the car owner then sought help from Snake Helpline member Manibhadra Mallick.

On getting the SOS, the Snake Helpline member rushed to the spot and started an operation to rescue the python.

However, it was only after an operation of five hours that the python was safely taken out of the car. Later, it was released in the nearby forest after necessary instructions from the forest department officials.
