Home guard dies during refreshers’ training in Bhubaneswar 

A home guard reportedly died while taking part in a refreshers’ course training at the Police Reserve Ground in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The deceased has been identified as Basudev Mansingh, a resident of Khordha. 

As per reports, Basudev was assigned duty at the Airfield Police station. He along with others was receiving the refreshers’ course training at the Police reserve Ground when he reportedly died. The reason behind his death has not been established. 

Following the incident, his body was taken to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem. Meanwhile, Saheed Nagar Police started an investigation into the death. 

No comments have been received from the police in this regard.
