A goods train derailed near Paradip railway station. The last two wagons came off the track but fortunately, there has been no major tragedy or casualty in the mishap, reports said. The incident occurred at the railway site operated by the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO). The train was en route to bring fertilizers from IFFCO office, sources said.
The exact reason for the derailment is yet to be ascertained. Fortunately, the derailment has not led to any disruption of regular train services in the region. The two derailed wagons were immediately re-attached without causing disruption to any other trains.
