A girl student allegedly ended her life for not performing well in the class 10 board or matriculation examination in Odisha. The deceased was a student of Jajati Keshari High School in Jajpur district.
As per reports, the deceased girl student had informed her family members that she had not performed well in the last two subjects of the ongoing matriculation examination. The girl student reportedly ended her life by hanging herself with a dupatta inside her house last night. The matter came to light on Monday morning.
“My daughter had informed that she had not done well in two subjects. We only asked her that she was attending two tuitions and how it happened,” said the father of the deceased student.
On getting information, Jajpur Police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Further investigation in connection with the incident is underway.
