Odisha has recorded four more Covid-19 cases across the State on Sunday, informed Public Health Director Dr Nilakantha Mishra.
With the fresh confirmed cases, the total number of cases in the state has risen to 49, the health official revealed.
Recovery & active cases
As per reports, out of these 49 confirmed cases, 15 patients have recovered. However, the state currently has 34 active Covid-19 cases.
The state healthcare authorities have reiterated their commitment to containing the spread of the virus. The Health Department has urged residents to adhere strictly to health guidelines and preventive measures.

Public Health Director Dr Nilakantha Mishra has urged citizens to follow basic Covid-10 appropriate behaviour such as mask usage, hand hygiene, and avoiding crowded spaces.
Additional measures are being considered to enhance the testing and tracing of Covid-19 cases in the state, aimed at mitigating further spread. The public has been advised to remain informed through official communication channels for updates on health protocols and advisories.
The Centre has earlier issued an advisory asking the states to ensure the availability of Oxygen supply, isolation beds, ventilators, and critical medicines to combat any potential escalation.
