In a recent explosive revelation, former legislator Prabhat Biswal has brought to light the events of a contentious incident referred to as the 'midnight operation' in Odisha that occurred on 29 May twelve years ago.
Biswal asserted his innocence, claiming that he was drawn into the affair by the then two ministers who aimed to frame him.
He made an explosive statement that these former ministers have subsequently faced setbacks in their political careers. He further implied that 'divine justice' is at work, observing that those responsible are now suffering the consequences of their actions.

Adding layers to the complex political landscape at that time, Biswal cited instances of confusion among party members, mentioning that Pyari Babu (Pyarimohan Mohapatra) making decisions in party affairs back then was akin to Pandian (VK Pandian) some days back.
Despite delving into this seldom-discussed chapter in Odisha's political history, Biswal refrained from naming the ministers involved in the alleged scheme to damage his political career.

Overall, Biswal has remained optimistic about justice being served, evidencing his belief that time will reveal the truth.
"I am wearing this red dress instead of white for two former ministers. There are the characters of Rama-Ravana and Krushna-Kansa in Ramayan and Mahabharat respectively. It is also quite natural that these characters are available in politics as well. The thieves were involved in stealing. However, they implicated the honest person on May 29. God is taking care of them," said Prabhat Biswal.
