BJP core committee meeting
The Bharatiya Janata Party’s core committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of State President Manmohan Samal at the party’s headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Sunday.
As per reports, the meeting was held to strengthen the party's power at the grassroots level. A blueprint was prepared for the political programmes to be held in the coming days and create one crore membership.
As per sources, a discussion was also held about the implementation of Subhadra Yojana in the State.
Odisha CM Mohan Majhi, BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, MP Pratap Sarangi, Odisha BJP in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar and others were present during the occasion.
“Discussions were held over many issues. Those were mainly about BJP’s membership drive and Subhadra Yojana. We are planning to create a record membership for the party. Planning has also been afoot to strengthen the party,” said Odisha BJP in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar.
“Future strategies and plans for political programmes have been prepared. Our aim is to enrol one crore people in membership campaign,” he added.
