Five-year-old boy dies in Jajpur after quack administers ‘wrong’ injection

Following the incident, the crestfallen family members of the deceased filed a complaint against the medicine store owner at Dasarathpur police station.

In a tragic incident, a five-year-old boy died at Mugupada village under Dasarathpur police station in Jajpur district after he was allegedly administered with a wrong injection by a quack.

As per reports, Surendra Mallick’s five-year-old son was suffering from diarrhea. Subsequently, Surendra took the child to a nearby medicine store at Mandarakhanda village. The medicine shop owner administered an injection after examining the child.
