In a tragic incident, a man and his son were electrocuted to death in Odisha's Jajpur district on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Mandal and his son Ashu of Bengapatia village under Jajpur Road Police limits. Ganesh's wife Tulasi Mandal was also injured in the incident.
As per initial reports, Ashu was doing some electrical repair work when he was electrocuted. On seeing Ashu, his father Ganesh and mother Tulasi Mandal rushed to his rescue. However, both of them were also electrocuted, sources said.
While Ganesh and his son died on the spot, his wife Tulasi was rushed to Danagadi hospital in critical condition. Her condition is said to be critical during the filing of this report.
