Except Baitarani, no flood threat in any rivers in Odisha, says Chief Engineer

As per Mohanty, around five lakh cusecs of water is currently flowing through Khairamal in Boudh. Around six lakh cusecs of flood water will reach Mundali by 10 am tomorrow. 

Water level is rising in different rivers of Odisha due to incessant rain

The water level is rising in different rivers of Odisha due to incessant rain induced by low pressure. However, except for Baitarani, there is no flood threat in any other rivers of the State, said the Engineer-in-Chief of the State Water Resources Department, Bhakta Ranjan Mohanty.

As per Mohanty, around five lakh cusecs of water is currently flowing through Khairamal in Boudh. Around six lakh cusecs of flood water will reach Mundali by 10 am tomorrow.
