Jharsuguda Airport, officially known as Veer Surendra Sai Airport is a domestic airport serving Jharsuguda, Odisha. As of February 2025, the airport offers connectivity to several major cities across India. The airport currently handles about 108 departures monthly, equivalent to 28 flights per week, connecting to four destinations within India.

IndiGo Airlines and Alliance Air are the primary carriers operating from Jharsuguda, with flights to Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, and New Delhi. The longest flight from Jharsuguda is a 455-mile (732 km) non-stop route to Bengaluru, which takes approximately 2 hours and is operated by IndiGo Airlines.

The air connectivity from Jharsuguda is set to expand significantly in 2025. Star Air, a Bangalore-based airline, is scheduled to commence operations from Veer Surendra Sai Airport. Initially, the airline will launch bi-weekly flights to Hyderabad on Mondays and Sundays.

Later, Star Air plans to introduce additional routes, including Jharsuguda-Raipur flights operating four days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday) and Jharsuguda-Lucknow flights three days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday).
