Bhubaneswar will launch direct flights to Ghaziabad and Port Blair starting March 30, enhancing connectivity for business and leisure travellers. Air India Express operates these routes as part of Odisha’s New Destination Policy to boost tourism, trade, and regional growth.

Flight Schedule for Bhubaneswar-Ghaziabad Route

Flight IX 1621: Departs Hindon Airport (Ghaziabad) at 9:20 am, arriving at Biju Patnaik International Airport (Bhubaneswar) at 11:45 am.

Return Flight IX 1624: Leaves Bhubaneswar at 12:15 pm, reaching Ghaziabad at 2:30 pm.

Flight IX 1611: Takes off from Bhubaneswar at 10:35 am, landing at Port Blair’s Veer Savarkar Airport at 12:55 pm.

The Odisha Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) praised the initiative as a milestone under the state’s Viksit Odisha vision, aimed at strengthening economic ties, tourism, and cultural exchange. The CMO also acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s support for expanding air connectivity.
