Notwithstanding the huge hue and cry surrounding ISKCON’s untimely Rath Yatra of the Holy Trinity in Houston city of the US on November 9, it seems it is planning to stick to its gun to hold the festival. 

As per reports, the organisation has got a chariot resembling the Nandighosha of Lord Jagannath in Puri constructed in Houston city. 

What is more, the chariot is scheduled to be pulled along within a few hours as per the Indian time.

On its website, it says it is organizing the ‘Festival of Bliss’ and there is Lord Krishna’s photo, instead of that of Lord Jagannath. 

However, questions are raised over it celebrating the festival involving a chariot that looks like Lord Jagannath’s Nandighosha chariot in Puri. 

On November 5, Tukaram Das, Vice President, ISKCON Bhubaneswar, informed through a press release that "Respecting the sentiments of Odia devotees of Lord Jagannath, the Houston Rath Yatra is cancelled."
