Dense fog to prevail in coastal and interior Odisha districts: IMD

Dense fog enveloped places like Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Rourkela, Angul, and Phulbani while the minimum visibility in Bhubaneswar was recorded at 100 metres. Due to foggy conditions, vehicular movement in most parts of the state was disrupted.

Dense fog is likely to prevail in most parts of the coastal and interior districts of Odisha for two to three days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

IMD Bhubaneswar scientist, Umashankar Das said that after two days, the night temperatures at many places are likely to fall by two to three degrees due to a change in the wind movement.
