Death of Odia labourer in Congo: Body reaches Odisha after Baijayant Panda’s intervention  

The family did their best to get the body back but failed in every attempt. As a last-ditch effort, they contacted BJP National Vice President Baijayant Panda and requested him to intervene.

Deceased labourer's casket reaches Odisha

The mortal remains of an Odia labourer, who died in Congo, reached his native village in Kendrapara district in Odisha on Monday, twenty-three days after his death. It was all possible due to the intervention of Bharatiya Janata Party National Vice President, Baijayant Panda, informed the victim's family. 

According to the family members, Dibakar Jena of Manpur village under Aul Police limits in Kendrapara district had gone to Congo eight months ago to work as a plumber. He went there through an agent. Due to some reasons yet to be ascertained, he died there on December 15.
