Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids on at least eight locations associated with Surendra Kumar Tanti, an Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI) posted at Borigumma Tehsil of Koraput district, on charges of possessing disproportionate assets to his known source of income.
According to sources, multiple teams of the anti-corruption agency are conducting simultaneous raids on the properties of Tanti at several places in Borigumma.
The Vigilance team comprising three DSPs, seven Inspectors, five ASIs, and other supporting staff are carrying out the raid on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore, sources informed adding that the team found some important documents during the search.

Till the last report came in, search operations were underway.

1. A Residential double-storeyed building located at Borigumma.
2. A Rented residential house of Tanti’s daughter at Borigumma.
3. Tanti’s house in his native village Ranaspur, under Borigummapolice station limits
4. A house of his relative at vill.Kamta under Borigummapolice station limits
5. A Two-storeyed building of his relative at Borigumma.
6. A Two-storeyed market complex at Borigumma.
7. Tanti’s building at Borigumma.
8. Tanti’s Office chamber at Kumuli, Borigumma.
