Furthermore, the team will address the broader issue of violence against women.

This move was announced by Ajay Kumar Lallu, who holds the position of state-in-charge of the Congress party in Odisha. Lallu also affirmed that the issue of KIIT student's death will be brought to the attention of the Parliament.

“Neither women nor the girls are safe in Odisha. The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) reports revealed, and the Chief Minister has informed the House that around forty-four thousand women and girls, including boys, are missing. Where is the Home Department sleeping? Where is the Odisha government sleeping? Why is the Government not giving a statement in this regard?” the state Congress in-charge questioned.

“Odisha is a state where Goddess Subhadra is worshipped. Women in the State are asking as to when our Subhadras will return home. The KIIT University incident is quite shameful and condemnable,” the state Congress in-charge said to OTV.
